My contribution to open source ... didn't happen

I'm using the NuGet package NLog.Targets.ElasticSearch ( GitHub - NuGet ) for logging against the ELK stack we've set up here.

I was missing a feature in the library so I tried to contribute. So I forked the library and created a pull request ...

But ... it wasn't implemented well enough... :(

However - mark did at the feature to the library - so I spiritually constributed in a way. Also - he was very right, his implementation is faster. Anyway - I learnt something again - better luck for me next time.
